"The films were produced to a high standard, on budget and exactly to the brief provided. The finished product is everything we could have wished for when starting off the production. I found the Impact Image team to be highly professional, efficient and customer focussed and would not hesitate to recommend them for similar projects in the future."
Training Policy Officer, Security Management Directorate
The Brief
The FCO's Security Management Directorate required a suite of 4 training videos to support classroom training courses which are held both in the UK and at various locations overseas. The videos had to visualise the many sensitive issues covered by the courses while remaining credible and engaging to watch.
Filming had to take place at a range of various locations around central London and the South East and actors were used to play the key parts.
The Solution
Rather than expansive acted dialogue we decided to take a more stylised approach where action told the story and supported by an economical voice over script. Where we had to show a potential threat such as someone following an FCO employee we used our camera's point of view to depict this rather than show, and thus identify the potential nationality of the threat.
Awards
The quality of our productions was recognised when our submission to the 2006 World Media Festival in Hamburg (Personnel Security film) 'Why Would They Target Me?' won a Gold award for Best Training and Motivational production
